UK 33rd Licensing Round

Supporting the UK’s Energy Independence

Advanced seismic coverage for the 33rd licensing round

Our multi-client data library offers the most recent and most advanced seismic coverage of the Central North Sea (CNS), North Viking Graben (NVG), Southern North Sea (SNS) and West of Shetlands (WOS) for the NSTA 33rd Offshore Licensing Round.

Central North Sea

With decades of sustained investment in this core area, Viridien offers the most recent and most advanced seismic coverage of the Central North Sea (CNS) for the 33rd licensing round, helping you improve understanding of existing assets, better evaluate new exploration targets, identify near-field exploration opportunities and aid reservoir development.

Northern Viking Graben

On top of more than 44,000 km2 of high-quality PSDM data in the Northern North Sea, Viridien has acquired approximately 26,000 km2 of East-West 3D data in order to provide a dual-azimuth volume over the NVG. Across blocks 211 and 003 of the UK sector on offer for the 33rd licensing round, latest data acquired perpendicular to the strike, and with a triple-source configuration, Viridien caters to the complexities of the area, enabling deep illumination of prospective Jurassic play targets.

Southern North Sea

Our long-offset 3D seismic data in the Southern North Sea provides an in-depth look at the area to enhance your exploration decisions for the 33rd licensing round. Identify prospect potential and missed pay with our Lodestone seismic survey, reprocessed through PSDM using our latest TomoML velocity modeling and bandwidth extension with ghost wavefield elimination (GWE).

West of Shetland

Rely on 23 years of Viridien experience and knowledge in providing best-in-class imaging of the complex West of Shetlands region for the 33rd licensing round. The most recent survey in 2019 was acquired using an innovative rich azimuth (RAz) geometry to address the complex fractured Devono-Carboniferous reservoirs by undershooting the volcanic sills.
